they also had an rx in there wohoo. "its equipped with a bigger turbo for massive horsepower." what kinda description is that. they could have atleast said it went from sequential to single and what size. whoever writes for them is a complete idiot.

I hate those dumb ******* shows. Just trying to cash in on the scene by hiring complete ******* retards to cover these events. If they would let someone host those shows that new fuckall then they would be much more enjoyable. But listening to some lady talk about some custom seats and intake. Please... I should let them cover my car and then treat them like the idiots they are.

Ah, that's a funny show! I was watching that one day and the trivia question was:

What production car makes the most horsepower per liter?

When they said the Honda S2000, I almost ****! Grrrrrrrrr!

Let's not get into the displacement equivalancies argument here - As listed from the factory, the FD RX7 makes 196 hp/L, while the measly S2000 is only at 120 hp/L.

Never bothered to watch that show again.

technically, the answer was the s2000. i think they meant currently in prodction and NA(maybe). but the most ever, NA i think it was the ser 5 rx7. (The s200 is rated at 240 right, or 250) either way is very close.

Ah, but they definetly said "production car" and not "current production car". That means that they were considering factory HP ratings from every car ever produced. Not only that, but at the time, the FD RX7 was still being manufactured in Japan! There was no reference to specific economic markets. If they would have said "What's the most HP/L of any USDM N/A Current Production vehicle," I would agree with them. The fact is, it's a lame show.

supposively when speaking about hp/liter it's one of those "understood" things that naturally aspirated is required.

of course come along little RX8 which is NA with 250 hp in a 1.3L package and blam we have a winner....but then people say that it is a rotary and should be considered 2.6L

whatever, i always let people know that RX7's have the most hp/liter, if that's all you're comparing...the hp and the liter size.

had a huge fight on the s2000 forums about that exact topic hahaha, that was fun.

kevin.
