I got certified for open water a few years back, but have only had a handful of opportunities to actually go. Now that my dad has a bigger boat, we'll be going more this summer. I really want a dive computer, something that's not integrated into the air pressure. Any recommendations? And I just talked with a guy at a dive shop about nitrox, and he says everyone is going more towards that now. I really don't mind hanging out and fishing between dives, so it's no big deal to me. But he says I should buy a computer that has air and nitrox figures, rather than just air, because it'll hurt the resale value. I really don't plan on selling my stuff any time soon.



so any recommendations on computers? opinions/experiences with nitrox?
