anybody in nj have a problem with the cops if they don't have the front license plate on their fd?...i want to take it off it looks like a billboard on the front of the car..so i was just wondering if anyone has had a problem with it.

 

depends on where you are, and who you know!

 

just get a 99' bumper.... it'll have a place holder for your license plate

 

you can put it on your dash facing out the windshield.



I do that on my T2...at least it looks better than having it on the nose

 

Its illegal to not have a front liscense plate in NJ. Having it anywhre other than your bumber is asking to get puled over where I live.

 

and that don't look like ***? c'mon that **** is horrible!

 

wouldnt the lack of a drivers license be more of a concern

to the police then no front plate?

 

I went w/o a front plate. I lasted 2 weeks until a cop pulled me over. Only got a warning, but it was enough for me to put it back on so I wouldn't get harassed.

 

I went for almost a year without one, and never got a ticket.



A local cop that i know would always give me **** for it, but his *** was not going to do anything...

 

Sounds like an invitation to get pulled. It might take two days or two years, but one day you'll go past a cop with nothing better to do.
