i went to a driving range once. i was useless the funniest part was a dad and his son approx 5 years old was there and he was teaching him. so the dad points and laughs at me and says don't be like that guy... i smile back..........jerkoff. not more than 1 minute later the kid does his backswing and whacks his dad in the side of the head. falls over bleeding, ambulance came yadda yadda. needless to say i had that last laugh
I love it when we go to the Golf Course (municipal of course) and there are the wealthy guys slumming with us common folk. They act annoyed when you are slightly obnoxious and loud. I guess the Golf Course is the outdoor version of a library.
I hate driving ranges beer drinking is not as acceptable at them. I also dont like them because its like a who's badder contest.
I had an uncle from Brooklyn NY that I went golfing with a couple of times he was awesome. He would yell at the old farts in front of us, especially if they are lingering around and looking for lost ***** for an eternity. He would tee up and hit a ball or 2 at them. hysterical.

I don't think I could call it "playing golf", but I sure do enjoy going out on a course with some friends, golf carts, and beer. Haven't done it in a couple years though. Not sure where my clubs are now that I've moved. Twice.
Last time out I think I shot about a 125.

If your shooting under 110 your taking the game way too seriously.
I did get into the low 90's and it wasn't fun anymore. It was stressful. Not why I started doing it. Now we rarely keep score, too much writing.
