Win XP home (32 bit) Win XP Pro (64 bit) is windows NT, Win2000 is based

on Windows NT also..all of them , you can use the NTFS format ---ie,,--NT

I use XP home and it works great,,but then again i'm a pentium 4, 1.7 gig

with 256mb of DDR ram.a bus speed of 266 mhz,40 gig WD 7200rpm HD

etc,etc..i like XP,,over ME and win2000

Im gonan use it for a online game server (UO) untill I get a large player base..then pay for a dedicated server...

XP Pro is NOT 64 bit unless you're running an Itanium processor.

To run a dedicated UO server? Dunno hard question, Pro would probably do OK. Pro is throttled as far as network bandwidth goes but that shouldn't be an issue till later

The last UO server I was toying with was a mem hog.

Not familiar with that one but I've not toyed with any of them for a long long long time.

Still play UO once in a blue moon tho.
