I purchased a bottle of it this evening, its a gift for a friend.



I purchased the Single Highland Rare Malt Scotch Whisky aged 15 years the bottle cost about $80.



Its for a guy that owns a shop in town. He always lets me and my mechanic use his shop for Tire Mounts and balances, and 4 wheel alignments. He never charges us.



This last time mounting my Azenis I offered some cash and he refused, my mechanic suggested I buy a nice bottle of booze for him. (he is Russian so you would assume he would want a good Vodka)



He mentioned Scotch and lit up, he loves the stuff. I hope I picked a winner.



Suggestions for future use are welcome.





I picked up a cheap bottle (on sale) of 12 year old Glenfiddich for $35 just to see what the hubbub was about. I liked it better cut a little with water and on ice. It was pretty smooth but still had a bite.

 

Never developed a taste for the stuff

 

My buddy is in to Scotch, he gives two thumbs up for that selection.

I had some Dewars once.... Seriously though, when I grow up, getting crazy scotches might be a fun thing to do.
