Turbo II's paintball thread got me thinking of my new hobby, so I was wondering if anyone else on here ever plays. We have a really nice 18 hole course here in Ames (very hilly, many trees, long drives) that I just started playing on last week.



I use an Archangel long distance driver (that I hook way too much), a Comet midrange straight driver, and a Birdie putter. Not a bad way to spend $32, and it's free to play!

i was at an environmental science conference in humbolt once and we were in the middle of a lecture or something and we see a frisbee land in the water and about 10 seconds later some guy runs down the hill......... bare *** naked and jumps in the water after the frisbee.

friggin hippies.... haha.

T, frisbee golf is just like normal golf only the "hole" is a stand with chains that catch the frisbee. An average hole is about 225 feet from tee to pin, and pro holes are over 300, at least at the place were I play.

 

So do you use clubs to hit *****? Or throw frisbees.

 

You hit frisbees with clubs...no...wait...you throw them.

 

Bah! Get some clubs and hit each other with them. That would be cool, especially if you were playing with a lot of girls and little kids.

 

I haven't seen any little kids there, but there were some girls. Justin usually has his clubs in his trunk, so we'll give that a shot next time. If anybody dies, we can just leave him/her in the woods.

 

I play a frisbee golf, usually a couple times a month. I use a Valkyrie Ultra Long Range Driver for straight drives, a Hyzer radical overstable for most curved shots, and a Red Rhino putter. Most of the holes where I play are around 300ft. I can throw a lot better side-armed, except for putting I throw it normal.
