I talked to a cop about this. He's a friend of mine, and said if you get caught using one you are basically trying to hide your identity, which will result in a ticket with a rather large fine.

Yes, it does. It when they are passing you, or when you are making a turn. At those times it is plain as day.



I bought one of these 2 years ago, used it for a week, and ended up just taking it off. The main reason I bought it was for red light cameras, but I never run them anyways.
