People are pissed about Iraq, for christ sakes how long are we going to have fight this war? Couldnt we use nukes or something to speed it up?

Yeah, it's about time somebody started doing something about it, too! One of the several reasons that I voted for "change" this time around.

But l8t apex is right! We can wring our hands and say pollution, global warming, and bears, oh my! but until we all roll up our sleeves and park the big SUV's and make some adjustments (some would say sacrifices) in the way we live our lives, we haven't done anything to help solve the problem.

Think green!

Well,

I'm not goin to give up ****. Billions of people (populations around the world) especially the east have third world and non industrial pops who polute the environment as a whole 1000 times more than we could.Raw sewage into the rivers and oceans, radiation dumping, just the fires and no environmental controles in the east does more to harm the environment.Gold stripping using Mercury in the wash out dumped straight into the African and Brazzilion river system owned by the dictators or war lords.

dont forget the bazzilions of sulphites etc that a single volcano produces supersedes our automotive out put in the US.

The world wants to handicap us....we sample and lead in our environmental controles. The rest dont do **** and you cant prove anything because they dont want science by the west to do honest evaluations.

**** China for underhanding our economy...

Oh by the way.I was an environmental contractor before I was bought out.I worked on several superfund sites up by j9fd3s....

matter of fact, im going outside to start my beloved FD and let it idle a while.Take that world!

Hmmm. Let's see... '88 Turbo II = 15 mpg, '85 Chevy C30 dooley = 10 mpg (on a good day), '66 Chevy II with a nice built 355 SBC = 15 mpg (when I finally get it back together). Nope, not too green. Hell, even the daily drivers don't do better than low-to-mid 20's, but I guess that's not too bad.

I try to conserve energy when I can. Like right now, I'm sitting down.

Yah and 2 stroke outboard motors can be clean, look at what BRP did with Evinrude. Pretty bad when a 2 stroke puts out less emmissions than a comparable 4 stroke.
