We did a RX-7 BBQ in South Florida last June and it was a success. We had over 30 RX-7's and even Cam showed up with his Banzai.



I am wondering if there will be any interest in putting on another BBQ.



I will look into some really neat venues. One I have in mind is to rent out the local SCCA Autocross equipment and put on a RX-7 BBQ Autocross day.



I would like to get my hands on a local 1/4 mile strip but they are usually booked up on weekends.



If anyone can look into theit local Florida Strip I will be willing to front the cash for a deposite to get us in.



I will find out about the Autocross for sure next weekend.



Chime in with suggestions. I really want to do one where we can drive our cars not just look at them.



I am not sure if I am going to do this yet but if there seems to be a lot of interest I will start working on it.

 

what part of south florida I might be able to go but if its really far away ill have to pass.

 

Depends how long I stay down in Hollywood, I'll come I'll be there around May 18th. I'll keep you updated, but yup, I want to come if I'm still there.

 

It will most likely be somewhere just North of or in West Palm Beach Fl. in June.



I will consider Orlando but last year there were tons of people from South Florida that came. So I will probably keep it in the West Palm Beach area.



Christi - I am planning on going to the Towers Shops in Ft. Lauderdale in a few weeks. I will post up when we go.

BTW - The beaches there rock. I love going to the beaches there.

 

Unfortinually (sp) No... My parent's think it's not necessary to drive all the way down there with two cars. I kinda don't blame them, esp. with the rise of gas prices.



Which is why I need to give someone a call down there for a ride around town:P Waysho and I might be meetin' up and all.
