what carrier do you have baldy? i have sprint and use sprintusers.com often for anything cell related.
every other forum tells you to search and supraforums has search function disabled. could be a new trend?

are you sure it isn't enabled when you login? Lots of places remove the search function unless you are logged in, in order to avoid high server loads
