Ok I need a little vent.
So, Chrismas eve, I was working with a grinder and got a piece of whatever stuck in my eye. I went to sleep thinking it would have gone away, not a chance. Now, its chrismas day and im with the family and spent all day doin what ever i could to get this thing out of my eye. no luck.
Day after chrismas every one in my family went on a ski trip leaving me home. I couldnt take the annoyence or pain any more.
I choose to go to the hospitals E.R. dispite the fact that i did not have health insurance.
Sat there an almost 2 hours before being seen finally get seen and some turka turka lookin mother ****** comes in and puts some **** in my eye then tries removin the piece out of my eye with a qtip, well let me tell you he did nothing but breake the peice into peices and and scrath the **** out of my eye.
Next they think that they can just wash it out with saline in an IV bag and suction cup in my eye, an hour of water torture it felt like. finally the bags empty and they had shot me with a bunch of unknown shots.
They now find the they did nothing but **** my eye up over the crazy amount of time they held me hostage (like 4 hrs.) fast forward to them telling me they did what they could and im gonna have to see a optumitrist. ok they set up an apppointment.
I got picked up bc now they got me doped up and i can no longer drive my car. got to the optomitrist and she was really hott!! she saw me right awayput some contraption on my eye to stop me from blinking and told me I better not move my eye i kinda got scared bc she was litrally sticking a needle in my eye.
Then BAMM two seconds later the peice was out of my eye and she gave me some nice eye drops. i was happy as can be.
Now I asked the how much this is gonna cost me, the optomitrist knowing i had no health insurance said she would give me a nice discount being the day after chrismas and she felt bad for me lol. i was supped she only charged me 135 to fix my problem.
Now I knew the the hospital was gonna but rape me. so a couple weeks later i get a bill from the hospital for 317, I said ok ill pay it, its the price to pay for my stupidity.
Fast forward to last week I get another bill from the hosptal? wtf? for 732!!!! wtf r u kidding me the hospital did nothing but **** my eye up and theyre gonna send me another bill for that much!!!
I call thinking theres some type of mistake and I had already paid the hosptial bill and gave then the check # i paid with.
They so kindly infromed me that i paid 317 to the Emergency room doctor the wasnt in the room for more then 2 minutes and the 732 bill is for me waiting 2 hrs in the waiting room, them using a bag of saline on me and giving me a couple of shots, oh not to mention ******* up my eye even more then it was.
then i got to this hot specialist and she fixs my **** completey in like 2 minutes for 135. i wish i could give that lady all the money!! the hospital is a ******* theif i almost feel violated and raped.
so i ended up spending over a grand to have a hot doctor remove something from my eye in 2 seconds and shes not even the one getting paid what a fucked up world

Hell I have insurance and it barely pays for ****, $500 per month per person and I take 3 prescriptions, 2 of which are no longer covered so I have to order them from canada as they have a generic.
Raise some hell with the hospital, when amy went in to the ER in Seattle we had no insurance, bill was like $7500, we got it chopped down a little (not much)

I would raise a stink about how they did nothing beneficial to you and drop the "malpractice" word a few times. See if they don't adjust your bill.

man i woulda told you just to go to the optometrist, been there done that whole ER routine, guy fucked my eye up worse then when it was before as well, wound up cutting a flap of my eye loose so it was 10 times more painful. went to the optometrist and 15 minutes later he was dremeling my eye and bam we were done (seriously i was rigged in that eye machine and he used what i could only describe as a dremel lol.
now i have become good at getting it out myself and if i cant i just call up the optometrist and away it goes.

Yea I went to the ER here because I had a fleck of metal in it, was about 3 years ago or so. Anyhow, she numbed me up then started pushing on my eye with a qtip, she eventually got it, but the next day i had the worst black eye you could imaging and that **** HURT.
