Amazon Kindle 2
#1
So i get this email from amazon about the kindle two and I'm thinking, man that thing is pretty cool. I buy 20 to 30 books a year, they are a little cheaper for the kindle, but you have to order them from amazon, you can't resell your digital copy either. Now here comes the crazy part, the ****** costs $359, so you pay them for the privilage to buy all your digital books from them. This price model seems horrible to me, it would seem to me that they could price this thing around $99, then charge a little more for books, say 20% more. Honestly the only thing that really got me excited about it was that I could get new books without having to buy hardbacks (I HATE HARDBACKS).

LOL, I'd definitely call it a gadget at this point, if it ever gets into the $100 range I'll prolly buy it. Actually with what I spend on book sin a year and what it would save I could prolly make it pay itself off, but i'm sold on that plan yet.

books don't need batteries.
That, my friend, is a LIE!
I have a bunch of dang kids' books that play music and **** that eat batteries, and they're not AAA's, they're watch batteries that cost $5. a piece! And each book takes three of 'em! Arrrrggggghhhhhh!
Fortunately, there's bookbattery.com!
Whew! Where's my meds?
