The justices of the Supreme Court struggled Wednesday to figure out whether they should allow lawsuits against prosecutors for framing a suspect. Iowa prosecutors, backed by the federal government and prosecutors across the country, contend that there is "no freestanding constitutional right not to be framed."
its not in the text, but it was on the radio, um the details of the case are thus;
guy was murdered, they arrested the guy who went to jail, evidence points to some other guy (they have a name and stuff) they decide to just frame the guy arrested. 25 years later, the guy who got framed sues
so the prosecutor lets the murderer go, imprisons an innocent man, and somehow this is LEGAL?!?!

they've been releasing quite a few people recently proven innocent based off of dna analysis. there was a special on the news a couple weeks about that, didn't hear about the framing of people though :/ amazing to see what prosecutors think of as "justice" now a days

I find that law enforcement lately has been doing quite a few amazing things. Parole violations and that Garridos guy? And how about numerous calls to police regarding a stench that "smells like a dead body" around that guy's house in Ohio? Gee, smells like a dead body. Eh, probably a dead cat. No cause for concern. 'Nother doughnut?

well when they do their job they get arrested

The driver, later identified as Aldrete Davila, was shot by Agent Ramos during a scuffle. Davila escaped back into Mexico, and the agents discovered that the van contained a million dollars worth of marijuana (about 750 pounds). None of the agents at the scene orally reported the shooting, including two supervisors. The Department of Homeland Security opened up an internal affairs investigation into the incident."

So, what's the solution, Phins?
What do we do, abolish the police? Does that fix the problem?
I was taught to respect the authority of the police. I see this problem stemming largely from a "resist authority" mindset prevalent among the "gangsta" crowd. The more cases of resistance we see, the more cases of police brutality we will see as a result. If we are going to rely on police to enforce the law, we need to support their efforts.
If you are wrongly arrested, how will resistance help your cause? Get a lawyer.

Restore Liberty, Restore our Constitution, then clean house.
I could go on for hours, but I'll leave it at that.
