Well i worked on for 6 hours straight and all i have left is to drop the tranny and take off the oil cooler lines. I also got my new rolling tool box, and spent three hours cleaning my garage. I just gotta keep a look out for a TII w/ a blown engine. And my buddy just bought a 86' GXL for 1200 in good condition, with perfect compression. I'm also going to look at some bikes next week.

yeah, but i'm replacing the whole drivetrain.

Im getting my hoist tommorrow and its all rdy. But one last thing, about the motor mounts. Do i just take off the nuts in the middle or the ones connecting to the engine?

there's a anniversary edition TII on ebay right now with a near blown engine, but i think the price is too high.

Either or. It is probably easier to remove the nuts connecting the engine mounts to the cross strut then you can rest the engine on this when you are hoisting her out. I took mine out two weeks ago and had a bit of difficulty with the engine wanting to twist and pinch into the gearbox.

Best of luck

Did it come from the factory with one? I don't have one on mine.

No, it was an aftermarket part. I know that Mariah Motorsports used to sell them.
