From the guy who built the car:
Hey guys!!!! I'm the person that actually did the conversion
Unfortunately, the Economy has taken its toll on my financial freedom right now.
I originally built the car to do SCCA Rally in an open class - unfortunately, after getting into the project I found that the car's engine had to remain the same as the car's unibody So I decided to finish the project and use it as a street car in the winter. It was a blast! Needed some updates to make it more fun (I'll give the next owner those thoughts).
I race pretty much on a fulltime basis when not at my day job so this project (like many others I have) had to be put on the shelf.
I think the car has so much potential that - Instead of retiring the car to the parts bin and dismatling the car for it's parts - I figured I'd give somebody one last shot at it. The car is fun and I can't believe that there isn't anybody out there interested in it.......the price is certainly right.....and I would think that now that the car is priced so low (needs some TLC)somebody would grab it.....
I really want to see somebody take the car and enjoy it.
The reliability has been fine - no trans problems, etc.....All the factory gauges, etc actually work, etc.....here is a link with some photos of the car (back then - a little dirty right now)

E-mail me if you are interested...jlipper@ptd.net
I drive a 2.5 RS I bought new in 1999 and really enjoy the car - there may be some interesting news on the horizon....but I'll save that for a future day.....
Best Regards,
