Our house is back to a wreck again, but this is our last major planned project. The cabinets get here some time next week. We won't be ready to put them in when they get here... we have a lot of drywall repair to do as you can see because the tile backsplash was glued on with mastik.

Also there was a drop ceiling that we axed and everything above it was unfinished, so we need to do some work too.

The new cabinets are a beautiful honey oak, with top cabinets and one drawer below each one. Also we are doing a marble countertop and sink. Lots of plumbing to do and I am doing some re-wiring as well.

Since we moved in we have rebuilt one whole room, tiled 2, re screened the porch, new fence, new masterbath as the old one got flooded.

Who in their right mind would drop a ceiling like that? Are there actually people who like small spaces? Claustrophiles?

Installing A/C was the best first step in a kitchen remodel. A million years ago I did a remodel before the A/C was installed, I must have been suffering from a severe case of assbackwardness at the time.
