so due to the new electronic fingerprinting I had to drive 2 hours to miami, wait i line, fill out the **** and pay, then come back in an hour, wait for another hour to find out I am short on some paperwork which since I fucked up cant be submitted for another 3 months **** ME, then it's 14 to 15 weeks to have my new license typed up (once it's sent to "typing" ). YAY i love dealing with gov't offices.

Oh the good news is they removed my "medical waiver" after a couple phone calls and thumbing through the 1500 pages they have on file.

Yikes, that sucks for a wasted day.

How else could you have spent that time?

1. Shooting bottle rockets at neighboring vessels.

$40 in gas, $145 to the coast guard and $25 for parking, that's a lot of money to spend to sit in the CG REC all day

2. Using the gas to set something on fire, instead of driving.

Yes we did, we love it. There's only going to be 10 other boats in the marina over the summer, so we'll have the place to ourselves. Our friends you briefly met moved with us.
