Only thing I'd change about the video? Japanese reporter or whatever=shut up so we can hear that 787!

Edi: This is a little off the beaten path, but why exactly did Mazda's Rotary Rocket get banned from the Le Mans? I've heard tons of things from cheating to displacement issues...could no one stand being beat by something so comparatively small? (Engine-wise.)

Old man in red suit looks like the Japanese equivalent to Ronald Reagan.

it beat the **** out of all the piston engine cars, so the other manufacturers got together and came up with a b.s. reason to ban rotaries.

That's what I was thinking. If you talk to any PISSton nut, they'll all come up with excuses about how it won under technicalitites, blah blah blah. People who haven't already caught rotary fever (or never driven a rotary car) are all scared because it defies convention. I was going to get a 350Z, right up until I saw the RX-8's commercial showing its engine. I hopped on the internet, looked it up, saw it was something completely different from what's seemingly standard, and the rest was a blur. My uncle was looking under my hood and was amazed about the whole thing, he told me everything about RX-7s when he was younger and REPUs (I already knew this, but he's my elder so I let him go on) and he made this statement to another uncle: "You'll see these little things in everything sooner or later, these are the wave of the future." Sadly, my uncle died a few months later, so R.I.P. Chuck. But even someone so old as him wasn't pissed about it being different, and he drove a Trans AM! He was actually wanting to see them take off. Aside from the occasional joke, I don't bash pistons at all. I just like something different but others who don't understand it are seemingly scared of it.

Seconded, but instead of chills, I get really relaxed....

Then aroused.
