65" wide screen high definition

so my roomate and i ordered a sony 65" high def wide screen from a local electronics retailer.
$3400 including a 5 year warranty and free delivery.
so saturday rolls around and its about 10am when the truck pulls up with our beautiful tv stashed in the back. the two mexican guys lower the tv off the truck, look at our front door and they are like well we gotta take the box off to fit this through the door. we say sure no prob.
you see the tricky part is getting the tv to turn an immediate 90 degrees from the front doorway to our apt doorway.
so the guys get it up the front steps and into the first doorway and then they are like well its not goin in but it should if we take the doors off. both doors come off and we are still in the same predicament. they call up there boss and he rolls down like 10 minutes later while we are standing in the rain with our tv halfway out the door. so the guy pulls up with 3 more mexicans and says well..... this tv isnt gonna get into that apt.
we were pissed. he said to call the sales guy and see what we can work out. so the load the tv back up and pull away. my roomate and i were cursing them out and 5 minutes later the doorbell rings and its the same guys. they say the tv will come apart so we can get it in the apt. they pull it off the truck, the guy calls his boss, we are all looking at it and it turns out it doesnt come again so they leave AGAIN. it was funny cause when the left the second time they kinda dropped it on the bottom step.
well we went back to the store and we just exchanged it for the 65" hitatchi high def wide screen cause it comes apart and we will be able to get it in the door :bigok:

Im sure they could have taken the back panel off the TV, the tops of those things are empty anyhow, if you take the back panel off there is NOTHING up there and they could have gotten it in the door. I take mine apart every year or so to clean the lenses and mirror.
I had to cut a hole from one of my bedrooms to my livingroom of my old house to get my new couch in because of a 90 degree turn.
It was a custom order couch and couldnt be returned.
Lucky for me the bedroom closet was on the opposite side of the livingroom, so out came the drywall saw, then a few 2x4s got cut out with my saws-all. Some screws, tape and putty and everything was right again.
Until I moved out, then I took my time and just took the whole couch apart just to end up selling it when I left anyhow, waited 24 weeks instead of 14 for a sectional to come from Italy and it was the wrong shade but thats a whole other story, lol.
