The 50 Dollar Computer
#1
Haha. People at wal-mart can be so stupid. I bought a computer at wal-mart(the one I work at) for 50 bucks. It is an e-machines. Just came with tower and monitor. I gave the monitor away. It is a Pentium 4 2.6 GHZ, 256mb RAM, 80GB hard drive,CD-RW 48x max speed. Soon enough it will have 1gb of ram, a dual layer DVD burner, and some video card(have not yet decided on which one).
I knew it was broken before I bought it, but did not tell my boss what was wrong with it. The replacement part will cost about 5 bucks. Someone "accidentally" cut the grounding wire for the cooling fan. So now all I do is order one from newegg.com. Might even order the 512mb card.
Maybe there is a few perks for working at wal-mart. Oh, and after living prehistorically with the internet for 6 years, my 'rents have finally decided to get broadband. Sorry, I was bored. It is snowing, and my g/f is at home. What else am I going to do?

I live in Oklahoma and find that very offensive. That was not funny at all and extremely insensitive.
