I agree with the GSL-SE being alot more fun to drive - I drive my brother's every chance I get when I go up to Ga

Doesn't the 20b eat alot of gas though? I wouldn't know though....

Mike - how much did it cost you to get your 20b project finished? Like total? I don't think this kid (starter of the thread) knows where he's going , or how much this would really cost him.....

I don't think you understand, redline....

Sure, $200+ sounds like good bucks, but if you look at the expensive to take care of a car, insurance, the money to keep it up to standards, to keep it running.. then if you plan on doing a 20b swap.. ah, it's more than you think.

Again, you are just a beginner. Learn how to drive first by getting a Non-Turbo , before you decide to get a high powered up car, that you don't know how to control if something went wrong.

Don't be offended, please, no intensions of doing so, I'm just trying to be honest here....

the 20b was like $10,000 total, that is 50 weeks.

it will get between 10-16mpg depending on the weather/state of tune, my gsl-se gets 20mpg

And 10K is if you have a WELL-EQUIPPED shop and the fabrication experience to do. Not to be rude, but I have run across very few 16-17 year olds that could pull that off. Have you ever programmed stand-alone fuel management systems? Can you weld? Do you have access to a machine shop? 200/week, Damn I pull almost 6 figures a year and I am not attempting a 20B, even though I would like to. My GFH resurrection has run over 7500 so far and I am nowhere close to done. Remeber 3500 gets you a USED 20B!, you still need to rebuild it.

Worry about the car you'll get now. Learn how to drive it, learn how it operates and it's limits. Before you decide to modify your car. You're new to the driving world, learn it before adding more power is all I gotta say.
