Seems like more of the same old song and dance sprinkled with some speculation more than anything else. Possible 3-rotor motors, drop tops, etc etc.. Yet the design still looks like ****. Mazda doesn't even trust their own rotary engines. Hinting to a possible V6 or V8 engine. What's up with that? The final productioin model Rx-8 looks plain and common when compared to a 3rd gen IMHO and the photos of that "Rx-9" don't look much better. It resembles a basterdized 350Z front end with a sloppy Aston Martin "inspired" rear thrown on top of a Rx-8. I don't know what is up with Mazda and the sports cars they have been trying to make. Seems more and more like the FD3S was sort of a one hit wonder of a car for the boys in Hiroshima. I don't see them making anything that lives up to the FD3S anytime soon. I'd just as soon buy an '09 Camaro to be honest.

I won't be excited about anything Mazda releases until it can SOMEWHAT compare to the FD - which I don't see happening.
Many other imports are going back to turbo monsters - EVO, GTR etc... get with the program MAZDA.
