Hey all, man that is one sweet car, but come on really what else would you expect from 'the world's most creative automaker'? That's a quote from the back cover of my 1970 Rx-2 onwer's manual and they're still going strong over thirty years later. Ah to hell with it, I save up for both!!

Maybe if we look beyond the big picture: the RX-8 will probably be in the $30,000+ range, the Mazda6- probably $20,000. Lets not think about insurance either. Besides, who says you cant hot rod either when the warranty is up? For every day driving, I think a Mazda6 might be more feasable, a RX-8 might be more feasable after its a few years old and a bit beaten. Not to mention the ease of repairs, which we all know about that special part of owning a rotory gives us all.
1. Fix that goofy looking front grill (?)
2. Dump the dumb looking ricer taillights.
Then it would be perfect and I would consider it as a replacement for my MX-6.
