1st Place!
#1
I took 1st place in the "exotic" catagory at the "touch of reality" car show in Tacoma, Wa. with my turboII powered Kelmark GT. Had a great time, but spent a lot of the day explaining the rotory engine to the uneducated masses. I put "rotary powered" right on the engine and still get the "how many pistions does it have" question. As usual I was the only rotory powered car at the show, but I did get a lot of the " I used to own or a friend used to own' an RX2,3,4,7, etc. All in all its kind of fun to watch people try and figure out what the heck kind of engine it is (even though I have a sign explaning it.)

Hi Rotarydragon,
Its running really good. Got rid of all of my problems and did some fine tuning with the Haltech. Its really scary to drive. I have GOT to put some more weight in the front end as when the turbo & secondary injectors kick in ,the front end wants to come off of the ground. I've got to take it out to the track one of these days to see what it can do. Next project is to put in a roll cage as the car is only around 1800lb and I believe I need a little more around me.( 4 people lifted the body off of the pan when I went to start the project.)
