Where ?????

Between the first and last exit?
Well, logically, yes.

I don't get why the exit thing is supposed to be an insult. Don't your highways have them?
they would have to have highways first!

because what he was saying is the worst spots in NJ are between the first exit into nj, and the last exit out of nj, ala the whole state.

personally i find NJ cool at times, we have everything you can think of, slums, rich places, movie star resorts, the worst city in the antion to grow up in (newark, it won some poll of 200 or 2001 as worst city to raise a family in or something)

Western Washington is actually one of the nicest places I've ever been in America. It could stand to be a bit warmer, but overall I like it so far. Too expensive for me to call this place home for the rest of my life. It's cheaper to live in Japan than around here at times. But Seattle (and about any place within 30 miles of the city srt of are the same) usually ranks in the top 3 cities of 300 cities every year as being the most livable. Check it out at you local bookstore. This area is great in spite of the Eastern area of the state being a shithole.

Noo Joisey huh? What was that George Carlin joke about NJ being called "The Garden State"? C'mon, I know you've got to know the joke.

But in all fairness - that car/truck bastard monstrosity is something that I'd expect to find in some backwater North of Seattle. Somewhere near Everett and out in the hills. There's a lot of loony rednecks around there out in the sticks. Lots of Libertarians with gun racks, killer bud, and a strong viewpoint against the government.

We dont have rednecks in everett.. we have crackheads. You have to go about 40 miles north to granite falls and arlington.

As for washington being a nice place... I'd have to agree, out of any state this is one of the best all around. We have rain forest, we have beach, we have desert, we have mountains, we have large cities, we have just about everything. The weather sucks at times, but when it is sunny out, its very very very beautiful.

however, Im sick of rainy weather and im currently looking at other places to live. ... im headed to st. croix in 2 months to check out the realestate there. :-D hope i can find a hut for cheap!
