So, I got the quote on the Bravada transmission..

The torque convertor spent a good chunk of time fragging and sending pieces through the pump body, subsequently causing pump failure. Pump failure basically caused the transmission to burn from back to front, destroying everything in the process.

Cost of labor $485

Cost of parts, fluids and tax - $1406.

Grand total, $1891.06, out the door.

That's getting me a full rebuild with all new everything, a heavy duty, high stall torque convertor, a high volume, high pressure pump and a stage 2 shift kit.. That should make the swap a bolt-on affair!

umm go to a junk yard and buy one used and then have it rebuilt if you want. it will be a lot cheaper bc all of the internals wont be torn up

That sounds about right for a full rebuild on an AT. Like shane said, get a junkyard one and toss it in there, **** having it rebuilt

I'm saying that I'm having it built to hold up to a 300HP LT1.
