i really hate having a cluttered 1800+ horse power workspace

1, Zakspeed probe turbo motor under my bench 700hp in mild form (15psi)

1 mercedes clk 230 motor (3rd from left bare block) 270+ hp (speed touring car series)

2 formula fords under the bench 117 hp x2

1 1700 cc lotus twincam 170 hp

1 330 ferrari GT-C V12 disassembled on other bench, less block 300hp

1 250 ferrari v12 on that same bench, less block 200 hp

1 nissan a14 GT4 car motor 180 hp (1.4 liter!) on the rollaround

1 Cosworth YBM, awaiting disassembly after a hard season of vintage enduros in a chevron b16 sports racer

i'll be busy for about 2 weeks lol

Thats pimp as hell. one day, i will at least do something like that on the side, if not full time. i love building motors, especially when you can go watch them win races, thats the best evar!!

how many people are in your shop? I work on a 4 person pit crew, one for body, one for chassis, and me and one other guy for engine and drivetrain. its great.

well, race season here is short, its a 1/2 mile dirt track car, its fun, but nothing compared to building a v-12 im sure. its a 2 car team, and we have 4 motors total, 2 in the cars, 2 back up, all are chevy 350's, 13.5:1 compression, run 118 octane, adn lay down some good numbers, but we have never dyno'd them, each engine sees 4 races, then rebuild, even if its still running. i don't get payed for it, but it is an education if nothing else. and the team is one family, and all of them are friends.
