Just thought I'd share a few images I took from this year's Sebring 12 Hrs race. Alas, no rotaries present. Hopefully next year though! Let's start off with the overall winner Audi R8, opening lap. It led pretty much start to finish!

This isn't the most remarkable picture...take a look at the driver's front wheel however. It's off the ground! Est. speed is about 125mph through turn 1.

I used a Canon point and shoot :-) Actually my equipment consisted of Nikon D1H bodies with a 400mm f/2.8 AF-S, 80-200/2.8 AF-S, 1.4X AF converter and a 17-35 f/2.8 AF-S. If I had my choice, I would shoot with the new Canon digitals. Saving up now. But at $7K a body, might take me a while
