wrx= win against lancer es

cmon man u gotta pair them up accordingly........anyone knows that the evo can beat the normal wrx but will lose against the sti....the sti has 320 horses and the sti has 280...they had them on car and driver and the favored the sti
Depends where you are. Everywhere but America the WRX sti has a 2 litre engine since that's the size dictated by the WRC. And since yonner is in Scotland I'm afraid FD3S DRIFT is right, and the Lancer will have the upper hand.

It seems that an extra half a litre does wonders for the Scooby, there's a crowd in the UK that have started importing the American spec 2.5 lite cars, and it's getting rave reviews. Also because the petrol over here is that bit better, the car makes 350bhp unmodified.

the WRX is not bad for the price. i just test drove one last weekend. in the US, you can buy a brand new one for ~$1000 UNDER invoice right now cuz i guess they are not selling that well. a used one will run even cheaper.

IMO, the '04 is a bit nicer than the older WRX's because of the center tach and better upholstered seats.

in terms of performance, i know you can easily upgrade the WRX with an ECU reprogram and exhaust for ~$1500 and should be pushing out a bit over 300hp. i've heard quite a few owner out her doing that and they were beating the EVO on the dragstrip. not a bad alternative to the STi.
