~7 Ft Alligator Vs ~8 Ft Burmese Python

Got an e-mail today, originally sent by someone in the Florida Parks Service.
~7 ft alligator vs ~8 ft Burmese python "interaction" at Everglades National Park, just north of the Main Park Road about 1mi to the west of our Main Entrance Station.

I asked my boss about it, he says it's actually a growing problem. Evidently pythons are taking to the everglades quite easily (people release them, they breed, yadda yadda yadda, you're attacked by a python).
