i am just very fustrated with work and my current status at home. too much trouble at work, i am doing **** that i am learning how to do for the first time. bought 2 new comps and had to install new network of 6 comps. needless to say everything failed and ended up spending time at work on a sunday and after hours yesterday to get it all starighten out. than the phones at work go out and they blame me cause they are too stupid to understand that a phone cable and network cable are 2 completly different things. plus i didnt get any appreciation for the extra time and effort put into this. hell i couldve been spending my day like i usually do browsing the forums and chatting all day. i have been neglecting my priorties.

home. wife still aint working. kids are bad. i miss my 7. chevy seems like it is going to die soon. 3 bald tires and bad coolant leak. car seems like its going to overheat on the way to and from work. just changed brake pads today cause literally there was no pad left. bare metal. sold a couple ps2 games that i dont play anymore to buy the cheap pads. no money no food. what else can i say? looking for a 2nd job again. no luck. got an interview at b or a for a part time on thursday though.

sorry to put this all out. just need to vent and apoligize if i have been too mean to people on the forum. dont take it serious.

i know things will gte better, im just waiting for the day.

ryan

thank you for reading
You just described, for all intensive purposes, the exact same thing that happened to me on Monday. Over the weekend, we installed a second server. The new server was going to handle the main application they use for closings (I work at a real-estate lawfirm), and the old to handle Exchange.

Well, everything went smoothly on Saturday.

Jump forward to Monday: "My icons are screwed up, must be that damn new server"

"My monitor won't come on, must be the new server"

"[insert problem here], must be the new server"

EVERYTHING had to do with the installation of the new server, so everyone's pissed off. The truth of the matter is that 90% of the problems were user stupidity.

I'm done.

Keep your head up, man. You're never too deep to dig your way out.

In the game Risk, I use a certain strategy that also works for life (so far, anyway). When I'm losing, I just don't make any moves, and slowly build up my troops every turn, and only defend. Yeah, no progress is made, but I'm preparing for attack in the future. If I keep attacking, I'll spread thin, and lose.

You just have to sit back, and ride it out. Play defensively, don't make any risky changes, and your time to rule will come.

I apologize if that sounded lame, but that's my best effort at putting my thoughts into words.

All bow down to Banzai, the Philosopher-King. He has given us a very apt analogy in the "fat chick" that we all can use to improve our lives. The "fat chick" is that thing which on the surface, looks undesirable, but when we get into it (so to speak) we find that it has its rewards. Be on the lookout for "fat chicks" in your life.

Oh Ryan, Don't be to upset.

This is the best part of life, it's the things that seem so bad that keep it interesting.

If it were so easy everday you'd get bored of it to fast!

It's the hard times that offer the most rewards.

Don't worry, one day while you're having a drink leaning against your "Insert favorite sports car" you'll look back on this and laugh.

Atleast that's what I keep telling myself
