50% to 200% increases, i have no clue what the extra tax is supposed to do for us. I honestly think we'll be looking at a move of some sort out of this area or onto a boat, this **** is wackadoo

no i won't move back to washington under any circumstances, but i may move north to sc or savannah some place like that. some place with a little lower cost of living and lower taxes, just need to do some research and find out where that is.

yeah thats how it is here, property tax isnt a huge percentage (in CA), but the house is 50 billion dollars, so you almost need a 6 figure job to just pay the taxes

if you own a house outright here with tax and insurance you will pay at least $600 a month. that may not sound like much if you live in nyc, but the wages here are ****. The cost of living has rocketed since we moved here, the taxes go up around 10% a year, and they are constantly adding to it for things like drainage and sidewalks would should have been put in when the places were built.

People are leaving the keys because it's costing them $15,000 a year for homeowners, that's insane!
