Martin, you have a PM.

Also, if anyone is concerned please see the thread in the Vendor section titled "DaVinci Motorworks Bad". I forgot to reference that thread, and decided it was the honest, fair thing to do.

You can't please everyone, however we try. This is a perfect example of how hard it REALLY is. I've put these kits on many cars. Mine has it as you can see. I have no fitment problems, no manifold cracking, no failure of anything. I have yet to see something come back to the shop for failure.

Everything has a warranty and we will replace or repair anything you aren't satisfied with.

Call anytime (618-222-1201) 10-6 CST and ask for Ron or Mark. I'm NOT there much, as I spend my days on the Air Force Base in the active military.

When will the GB end?

Are the kit complete? What else are needed? Ex. pipe to IC?

And, what's the recommend spec for FD w/ some port running about 15 max?

Don't really have an end date yet..

Only thing you will need is the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler. If you tell me what intercooler you are running, I can make suggestions, or get a charge pipe made for your application.

There are several turbos that will perform well on a ported motor at 15psi.. What kind of driving will you be doing with the car?

Actually, I think I'd go w/ t04R.

I'm a newbee w/ turbo here, so I'll tell you what I think would work. I'd choose .84 AR for faster spool. Since I won't be shifting pass 8.2 K rpm, the turbo won't choke, right?

I have stock IC. So, how much is for turbo to ic pipe? Don't mind me about the IC. If someone sell used PFS, Petti, or Greddy smic, I'll jump on as they should use the same charge pipe as stocker. It's just that I won't be able to buy new IC if I jump on this turbo kit. Remember, boost controler is also needed.

However, as the GB is still on, I'll wait to see if I can get anything during.

TO4R is a great turbo. I would seriously consider waiting on an intercooler before you do any kind of install. Yes, you would be safe at stock boost levels with the stock unit, but I don't recommend it. If you were to pick up a SMIC that fits in the stock location, you could use the same pipes, yes. But if you are going to upgrade the intercooler I'd save up for something bigger than that. I would recommend a M2 medium at least.. You'll quickly use up a smaller ICs capability to cool running a turbo like this at any reasonable boost level. I also recommend at least a Power FC to tune. Remember you will need some more fuel also. At least larger secondaries and a fuel pump to start..

I'll check with the fabricator on the charge pipe and get back with you.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into IC more, but I don't think I'll have to get a big one tho. I'd love to save money for tuning map.

I've got PFC installed. Still have fuel pump, 1600's, and block off plates not installed. Those should be needed when going single, right?

What else do i need? boost controler and midpipe? I'd like to have everything ready before bringing the car to the shop. Don't like to leave the car anywhere if not necessary.

Thanks again.

All,

I'm closing the group buy for the moment. I apologise to anyone that was or is interested. I will be offering these again in the near future but I'd like Martin to get his kit and provide some feedback before I continue making these. For all concerned, please see the thread titled "Bi-State Customs and DaVinci Motorworks" in the 3rd gen section. Feel free to PM me anytime.
