Ok, so I'm starting to plan out installing this bumper thing sitting on my garage floor. Who's gonna be the first sucker to post a "how to" for the tricks of getting this thing installed?





Anyone made a list of "misc hardware" needed to attach this thing? Does one exist already?



So far, the biggest (most unique?) item I've seen is the giant-headed rivets attaching the top of the nose to the aluminum framework. I imagine there are gonna be some other unique fasteners under there as I start to disassemble the current nose.



Thanks for any help. Call me ****, but I hate getting stuck in the middle of a project 'cause I need a 12 mm coarse threaded twisty thing with a 90-degree bend that's only sold on the third tuesday of each month in downtown topeka, KS.

the rivets are the only thing, they are super common, you can probably go to a auto body shop and just ask to buy a few. If the clips on your bumper are rusted you might need some grip-a-clips and bolts, should be 6mm, again a auto body shop or supply house will sell that.

 

I'd like to hear how well the undertray/splash pan fits with the 99.

All our stuff arrived today. Thanks Chuck! Everything looks great!

 

There are two people emailing me that the bumper does not fit properly. The bumpers I test fitted is from the same mold as the ones I ship out. So it's very unlikely that the ones I ship out do not fit the same as the ones I test fitted. But just in case the bumper is indeed defective, below is what you need to do:



Take some photos and email me. If the bumper is indeed defective, I will replace it and take care of the return shipping and shipping charges back to you. But if the bumper fits fine after I test fit it on a car, you will have to pay for all the shipping and the labor of test fitting the bumper in the amount of $160.



1. Take some photos and show me where the problems are.

2. Use a whiteout pen and sign your name on the area where the problems are before you return it. That way you can make sure I am test fitting the bumper you return.



After I get the bumper back, I will test fit it on the same silver car of which I taken the photos from and take pictures for you. If the bumper is defective, I will test fit the replacement before I ship it to you.
