Chuck:

Are the Feed side skirts only done in Carbon? Do you do them in fiberglass? If so, what's the price on them?

Thanks,

I dont need the $200 refunded, I'm fine the way things are.

Also, I was fully planning on getting the FEED sideskirts, but NOW I'm trying to cover up some damage and the FEED ones wont do the trick, so I need the regular kind of sideskirts

I'll keep looking and hoping people will want the Apexi ones...

For people who joined the group buy and need something else for their car, please email me at rotaryextreme@aol.com for a multiple item discount quote.

As for the Type F sideskirts, it's only done in CF.

Thank you.

Can anyone post a pic of something that has a similar " glossy black gel coat" finish. I don't have any experience with these fiberglass parts. Does it look real glossy? Is it possible to get it painted flat...although, I'm thinking it might end up getting chipped. Just want it to match the front lip as close as possible I guess...Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.
The texture of the diffuser depends on the condition of the mold. Since the mold will be brand new, the surface of the mold will be baby-butt smooth so the part popped out of it is going to be glossy.

You can paint the diffuser just like any fiberglass product. If you want to save some money, I will suggest you to use the BBQ grill high temp black paint. It's semi-glossy and it works pretty nicely. Just make sure you strip the wax off the diffuser by washing it with detergent and wet sand it with 600 grit sandpaper first. Otherwise the paint is not going to stick.

When I ordered the diffuser last week, I was informed that it was on back order for about 2 weeks. Hopefully it will make the container that's leaving by the end of this month. I will let you guys know when the diffuser leaves Japan.

2 More Weeks?!!!!!?

Can't you just fly over there and bring one back?

.....just kidding, Chuck! I'm dying to get it! Steve Kan is tuning the car in a 2 weeks, and with all the added hp, I'll need the diffuser to keep it planted, no?

Can you do any better on the price of the Type F skirts? I know they're carbon, but I'd paint them anyway, so the material is an academic issue.
