Tim:

I've been flirting with trying to convince myself that this diffuser was worth the price that JT Imports needed, and as you can tell, I could never rationalize $700 for a stinking piece of fiberglass. So, this group buy could not have come along at a better time- a fair price on something I've desparately wanted.

By the time we get the buy done, almost 3 months will have elapsed. Then, Chuck has to get a diffuser, and who knows how long that will take. Then he needs to make a good mold, and then start to pop them out. Could this take 5 months from inception to actually getting one? Yes, it could. Which is why I've been pissin' an moanin' about people waiting until the last minute to step up- it only extended the time for actually getting one.

I don't know about you, but when I put my $ down for something, I'd like to get it. Which is why I put my deposit down as soon as this was underway, hoping that my action would move it along.....oh, well.

Mazda Mike:

Are you a St. John's student, or an alumus? Just curious as a graduate of the diploma factory on the hill, too.

Chuck said buyers who pay in full get theirs first right?

BTW Chuck, if you decide to make replica Apexi sideskirts, that would be SUPER! I will gladly pay in full for that too!

Paid in full when that amount is due. You'll note that full amounts are due when the diffusers are being made. What? Are you from New York? There's a line, bud. Good try, though.....

I hope to have an answer on your Apex skirts tomorrow. I'm waiting for a set myself.

And you'll note the deposits are not due till the deadline. Since you feel the full amount is not due till the mold is made, what's the difference in waiting till the deadline to pay the deposit. Stop bitchin' like a crybaby!

i would also be interested in the apexi sideskirts unless there is a feed replica in the making

also it seems like there are a lot of people from the tri-state area in this group buy.

me and martin were ballparking the idea just ship both diffusers to his house and ill make the half hour drive to jersey to pick it up. would anyone be willing to do the same if there are a bunch of us in the same general area it might save us some money....

how much will shipping be anyway?

Yeah, I made a mistake on the order of payment received. Here is the correct order with the payment received date:

1. R. Weber (1-02-04)

2. J. Prew (1-28-04)

3. S. Ward (2-4-04)

4. M. Fusaro (2-7-04)

5. M Penson (uses 99 lip as deposit)

6. T. Benton (2-27-04)

7. H. Petty (3-2-04)

8. M. Brown (3-2-04)

9. S. Cirian (3-3-04)

10. A. Farinas (3-5-04)

11. J. Castleberry (3-6-04) paid in full

J. Kim puts down the deposit for the original.

If you want me to ship a few diffusers to the same address, that can be done. I can probably put like 2-3 in one bumper box and each bumper box will cost about $150 to east coast. Please arrange that among yourselves.
