I just got 12 sets of RE-Amemiya covers about 10 mins ago.



I cant ship them out till Tuesday which is still 1.5 weeks ahead of schedule hehe I love RE sometimes.

Smoked lens look alittle pink to me -thats way Ive decided to change from smoked to clear. Also, my housings are carbon fiber and the clear lens makes that easy to see.

I really appreciate JT-imports for helping us out with this group buy, Ive been looking for replacement lens for quite along time.

thought I would post to say somebody may of received a set of smoked in error, I ordered the smoked lenses and received clear, trouble is UK is a bit far to be sending things back. Great service and fast delivery tho'

haha yeah no problem. When you see them side by side it really makes a diff, but alone it looks clear. I noticed when you put them up agaist something black you almost dont see threw them(which I like on sleek lights) but the clear on something black you can see it just the same.



Either way Im glad they made it by friday, hopefully everyone will get them then, I was trying to get them out early in the week so it would work out.

I got mine today they look good except for some scuff marks? Or is the protective sheet that has the scuff marks only? Btw the Red Rear carpet look awsome Jason. hey since we are on thsi topic any of u guys have a extra set of bracket for hella lights, I try to make mine it's ok but not perfect I need to copy somebody bracket.

Hey has any one installed they light covers? What is the right way to installed them? Do u apply double masking tape on the housing and on the Sleek light covers? Or only side plus sillicone sealeant? Khris

As far as I heard before, they were doing its both ways just depends. If the fit was 100% i would just use the really thin double sticky tape, but even if its a little off I would use silicone or something like it.

I used black silicone on the covers I got from Rotary Extreme and they held better than the double sided sticky tape... I'm going to use it again on the RE covers.. they look cleaner after the messy install... I don't want these things to fly off, I heard the sticky tape gets a little loose when it's really hot out or under the sun...

I don't remember the name, it's just black silicone sealant...



I just applied it, squished the lense cover on.. and ran my finger around the edges to get a nice a smooth joint...
