Will the Commander come with a holder? What's the difference between all the versions of PowerFC's and Commanders? Thanks Chuck.

 

The Power FC with commander does not come with a holder. They never do. For myself, I use a cell phone holder and it works greatly. You can find those at the rice boy shops or local auto part stores. I used the Japanese cell phone holder but it's like $25. I think you can find one at pep boys for like $10.



When Power FC first came out, it was the version 2.0 and it has some bugs such as the A/C clutch not working, etc. Through out the years, they have upgraded it to version 5.0 to fix those bugs and now it's version 7.0. The base maps on those are a little different but not by much. The ones I have for sale are the latest Version 7. When you turn our igntion on, your commander is going to display the Commander version and Power FC version. Version 7 has its own commander. If you use the Commander that's used with version 2, it's not going to work.



The Power FC and commander I have are matched so you don't have to worry about any of that.
