this is not the price shipped. Chuck will make them, then ship them out to you, and you pay the shipping company directly because Chuck doesn't make money on the shipping. He will explain all of that when/if he posts here.

For those of you who are interested in replica of the APEX sideskirts, I need at least 10 prepaid deposit.



In order to join the group buy, please read the following carefully.



1. A $150 non-refundable deposit is required. It's only refundable if the group buy does not go through such as we don't have enough buyers by the deadline. Deposit can be made through paypal or money order. So please make sure you really want them before you send in the deposit.



2. To pay by paypal, please send the $150 deposit to rotaryextreme@aol.com and mark the subject as "Sideskirts Group Buy". Don't forget to include your day time contact phone numbers.

4. If you are in CA, there is 8.5% sales tax.

As usual, I'll get this going by paypal'ing my deposit today. But going back in the thread, zydecoking2 had the price at $350 based on 10 participants. I suspect that we'll end up with more than 10, but in the event that we do not, could you comment on the price change, as I see it is now at $400.....still a good deal, but......

Okay, everyone who is interested or otherwise...



Chuck emailed me that he has a set of Apexi side skirts available to him here in the States, so he will not need to go overseas for a set. What this means is that his cost to produce the mold is reduced, and most important to all of us, we can have these skirts as soon as we have 10 deposits into Chuck!



So, although he posted a 'closing date' of May 31st, he will move forward as soon as all our deposits are in. I've sent mine along to get us jump started, and I'm hoping that all the rest who have indicated interest will follow suit.



I want these on my car yesterday!

After recalculating everything and judging by the interest, I will need to raise the prices to cover the cost.

I'm not trying to milk it but this month I have quite a few car bills... I'm in no matter what. But I don't want to stretch my budget more if I don't have to.

Perhaps Chuck will allow you to send along a smaller deposit to indicate that you're serious about this GB? I understand your dilemma, and don't have a problem with that.



My guess is the 5 of us that have deposts in want this to get going already. Once we hit 10, we go- is that right Chuck? If others want to jump in once he's going, then fine. I'd prefer to not wait another month for guys to plunk down their deposit. Unlike the diffuser GB, Chuck doesn't have to buy the side skirts. Of course, I'm assuming Chuck is on-board with this.....

The tentative deadline is May 31st. I really want to wrap this up fast. The diffuser group buy took 3 months to gather all the deposits. Just email me at rotaryextreme@aol.com and let me know when you can make a deposit. I really want people to make the deposits ASAP so we can get this rollling.



Right now I do have a customer who is willing to donate his sideskirts but if you guys take too long and he decides to paint them, you will have to wait longer for me to import a set from Japan. I doubt APEX USA has them in stock.

Okay, we did have 10 individuals when we were casting about for guys who were 'in', but somehow a few of them evaporated over the last couple of weeks. Go figure....



I've learned, from the diffuser group buy, that people (for watever reason) will wait until the last minute to place their deposit. I've tried to understand this behavior, but damn if I can figure it out. I guess we have to be patient.....

This is my first group buy but it looks like we almost have 10 and we're far from the deadline. Doesn't that mean the probability of getting 10 is pretty high?
