you have to make at least one to show the product off.... no one knows how it looks, if it fits, what the quality is...
make one , take pics , then see if people want it.... you cant show pics cause you need 15 people to buy it in order for your guy to produce it....and people wont ever buy it without pics because it might look like ****
its like saying "hey i need 15 people to buy this, i cant make it until i have the money from 15, and then ill make it" and then you send them a piece of paper....or nothing at all, and just steal the money
not that youre gonna do that...but if you know anything about marketing ... you cant market a product to buyers when theres nothing to market

I understand your point fully but if i could just make one, I'm more than happy to make one but the minium order is 15. Just like every proto type products, you can't just make one as a sample because manufactures don't have the time to switch their equipment and resources just to make one sample for you. I'm willing to spend the $5k to get the proto done but that means the production run will cost alot more to offset my initial cost. If you know what i mean. 
I think I'll just get other companies/shops involved and forget the group buy since companies are willing to spend the money for the initial investment than individual.

Mazdaspeed makes one allready and i'm not sure if it's still on jt-imports website but there's pics floating somewhere. If I could get the new Mazdaspeed hood replica for cheap, i'd definately get the lip to cpmplete my A-Spec look with my carbon '99+ wing. A durable front lip, would prolly have to be kevlar (like RE-A).

nah, my front lip was sent to chuck at rotaryextreme, i then used it as my deposit for the diffuser group buy...
this guy's forum name is skunks..... he's sent me some cool carbon fiber stuff in the past..... so i trust his workmanship
