Exactly that, it has the self-centering spring/mechanism for the 2-3 upshift. That's all, I didn't mean to get you pissed or anything. But, the FD is a pure sports car so any help not needed for the dirver, shouldn't be there.

FDokinawa-- I dont know if DRAGON is still using his(STILLWAY), but he had one before. He had some good info on them. It look bulky to you? The Ikeya is GAY, I like the operation, but damn that thing sits HIGH!

anyway, Im going to check on some discounts and other parts for you guys.

I'll ask him next time I see him online.. I havent seen a pic of the stillway shifters. I'm just going off other sequential shifters that I've seen.. since they still use the stock shift patern, they have a bulky base to alow the mechanism to shift. The ones Ive seen look like you would have to at the very least cut your boot, or get rid of your whole center console. I will see if I can get a pic of it from Dragon or Jspecracer next time I talk to them.

Its hard to tell from the pic.. but it looks like you wont be able to keep the center console.. or you'll have to modify it..

I wanted to throw a quick note in here - it was a pleasure doing business with Jason. No problems at all. The shifter arrived in its original box and it was in darn near mint condition (the corners got hit a bit but no biggie).



The shifter feels GREAT. I've had a chance to beat on the car a little more tonight and it just flat out changes the driving experience. I was shocked to read all the articles (circa 1993) about how great the FD shifter is - I personally thought it was CRAP. I never felt confident driving around and really banging through the gears.



I was originally set on buying a B&M shifter since that's what everyone more or less recommended. I can't comment on that particular shifter since I've never driven in a car with it, but this C's shifter is awesome. I feel very confident shifting now and it doesn't feel like I'm going to break anything when I shift. Shifts are smooth, albeit notchy, and precise. The total height of the shifter is higher than stock (and my momo shift knob makes it even taller!) but it still feels great driving around. Heck, now that I've gotten used to the new shifter position it feels GREAT.



Two thumbs up for Jason/JT-Imports and for the C's shifter. I now feel like I can drive my FD more spiritedly without thinking I'm going to destroy the tranny. If you can still get the C's for the group price, I'd highly recommend it.
