Don't get me wrong, I'm all for originality where it counts. A fiberglass panel under the back of your car? Hmmmm, who will ever know? So, I'm willing to compromise there, especially when the part can be had for $300 less. The $400 price in Japan is probably what we have in mind back here in the States. There must be a cheaper way to ship, no?

sure I could strap it on my back and swim hehe

You can come for AUTOSALON 2004 and take it back FREE shipping

hummm what else........ thats about it..

If 4 wuld fit in a box that would help for another $50, but 4 people in Cali is tough, we just did 3 there a while back.

It doesnt stick out like a sort thumb like the PRO version, but people WILL see. I have one on my FD.

but since there doesn't seem to be any interest in my area, I'd be willing to join the gb in soCal. I have no problem going down to pick it up also.
I'm interested. I'm not in any rush actually, just let me know when you want to do it. (San Francisco)

I've got a RE CF diffuser on my FC and had to take it off since it scraped all over the place, it doesn't look like it'll be a problem with this one, but should I worry at all?

oh, and if I'd save on ordering more stuff at the same time, I'll do so. (FEED CF sideskirts for FD, FEED lip for FC maybe)

No problem at all. That another reason I didnt get the PRO version, sometimes Japan parking spaces are shallow and its easy to nick the exhaust, but still the exhaust will hit first, VISE $600 worth of material. SS can handle a nick, but fiberglass I would rather not take the chance..

Since there are going to be knockoffs of both RE diffusers, are there any other brands out there? I don't want to have one thats been copied.

Yes sir....

Lots of them that havent been copied, I have to do some stuff this morning, but I will post some pics or something soon.

We are going to take to some companys about a little something that way it EASY and possible to tell the difference between the real and the fake without taking the part apart to see.

Jason, what do they make the real diffuser from? Is it regular fiberglass, or something more flexible?

FRP....

Its pretty stiff though.

I have had mine for a year now I think and I have a bad habit of hitting parking bumps with my muffler when backing into spot due to it being too low. No problem on the diffuser its nice and safe..
