Is it better than Quake 3 Arena? That's pretty much the most current game that I have.

 

Been playing the game quite a bit today. I like it. Graphics are not near as good as I expected, but they aren't horrible by any stretch. Game play is great, very similar to other COD games, there are a lot of gadgets that would appear to be a campers dream come true. Cameras, remote control cars, etc, etc.... however I have found them easily overcome by runnin and gunnin which is my style of gameplay. Walk up on some dude farting around with his remote control car bomb and knife him.



Offline play seems good, however i only spent 20 to 30 mins playing it. Multiplayer really is well setup. Easy to find friends in a game, tons of game modes, ones for campers, ones for snipers, ones for gunners, one for people who want to play as a team. I like the online play, i like the ability to pick from several game styles.

 

I want this game so bad!!



@baldy, Should've got bfbc2 for ps3. The blu-ray discs take some abuse without scratching. That and I've played the **** out of that game on ps3 and it'd be nice to have a teammate that shoots the enemies instead of me lol

 

I can tell you I find the commercials very amusing

WOW what a piece of **** this latest update was. Took the update this evening when I got home. After taking the update the game is totally unplayable. I played 4 games and was able to finish ONE. What's even worse is the other 3 locked up my PS3 so bad i had to get up and physically hit the power button. Good job as no other game has ever done this to my PS3.



What a piece a crap they have made out of a great game.

 

I haven't been on black ops in a bit. Got pissed off, I would be playing on a team & in less than a min my whole team would quit. That **** happened too many time so I took a break from the game.

 

I play domination or headquarters and dont have that issue. Noticed it a lot in deathmatch though.



One of the things that impressed me when I got the game is how fast you could get into a game and play. With this latest update it takes like 5 minutes to get into a game, which makes the fact that it locks your ps3 up even more frustrating.
