When joining a game pick the one where it assigns you where yer needed you'll get right in. I usually play sabotGe and never wait more then a few seconds. That's really strange.

 

ok. i think the long wait was only associated with the suppression game mode. i went to sabotage yesterday and it was rather quick.

 

So who's getting mag2? I want to get it with the motion controllers. The e3 demo of them using the controllers looked instinctive and quick.

 

Maybe I'll pick up Mag 1 when #2 comes out! I'm sure it'll be cheap.

 

Lol hopefully the price will drop, most places I've seen still charge full retail for it

 

i preordered the new socom. I don't think I will order Mag 2 to be honest.



The concept of mag was great and if people played as squads to get challenges done it would have been great, but there were times when I was the only one doing anything and everyone else was running around getting killed like idiots and not playing the game,.

oh i reset my rank like 3 times before I got bored with it.

 

Lol in the lower ranks you'll have a lot of that. In the upper ranks they're trying to keep their k/d ratio and win records up so the gameplay is much better and more frustrating at the same time. When I start a new fps I'm happy just to be playing online with something new. When I start ranking up I start setting my goals higher so when I die or my team loses I get pissed haha

 

I am looking forward to SOCOM. I have always had a soft spot for socom, it was the first online playstation game I played and that was in the BETA days of Socom. I did the rank reset 4 times on black ops before I got bored with it. Black ops was a decent game, but there was not much point, its a run and gun game even on the "tactical" settings.
