Then it's probably just a wire. If the signal was bad you would know it. A bad signal can sometimes be helped with MSD 8509's.

well i'm recalibrating it right now, so hopefully if i put it back together well it will work. i'll have the speedo too

not well my tach doesnt do anything when you hook it up, and i fucked up putting the speedo cable on so i get neither this morning, oh well. i'll have to try again, again
