Shoutbox R Broken

When I hit shout, my shout doesn't get displayed and the shoubtox doesn't get refreshed. This has been the same in Opera and FireFox, but appears to be the product of an upgrade to the site because it didn't used to to do this...

That's the way it's supposed to work, that way it doesnt reload the page

The iframe auto refresh seemed to be holding up page loads.

Hmmmm...that sucks. The Shoutbox should be a separate entity from the page itself and update dynamically .

It does, but you can't load a java applet inside the frame without the frame having to execute it at some point.

Ohhhh but it doesn't. Maybe it's just a non-IE browser problem?



So the frame update causes the whole page to reload?

no... that's not what i said, I said when running iframe, it slows down page loads, we aren't running ifram, there it doesn't update at all....

iframe is on, we;ll see if it slows down page loads like it used to
