is there a way where you can make it so you click the "+quote" button, the one that turns red, and then have that quote come up if you use the quick reply?

 

No the advantage of quick reply is that it doesn't require a page load or additional queries to enter a reply, the quick reply is loaded when the topic is loaded, to enter the quotes into a reply, you have to load another page.... ie its no longer the quick reply.
