It doesn't cost much to run dual's. all you have to have is 2 monitors, a video card that will support 2 monitors (mine supports 3), and an adapter for the hookups (if ur cards are like mine). all that will only run you (with brand new CRT monitors) is around $300 (if u go with the cheaper ones) or $500+ for LCD's (19").
