Ok I know it keeps a lot of stupid searches from killing the server but I cant even search for "Fuel Cut" major PITA.

Ok off the top of my head the only way I can think around this while still killing stupid searches is a filter. I know it would be tim econsuming to do but if you filtered words like "the it if " w/e then you would still be able to search for things like "TPS, BAC, fuel cut " etc etc

I love this forum, but the 4 letter search is horrible. It may be less taxing on the system, but it also makes it much more difficult to learn from the database of info that we have developed over the years.

There are a number of 2, 3, and 4 letter phrases that are almost a necessity to find certain things on this forum. I really the 4 letter limit needs to go.

we had the three character search available...
it disappeared after the recent crash... phins just may need to reinstate it..

It's a limit of the current search function, there's nothing I can do to change it

jeez guys use the one at the top of page, usually yeilds good results.
